To Bob, Marley and Kathy's entire family I want to express my sincere sorrow in her passing. May her memory be eternal. She was a caring friend and I will never forget her. I will miss her lighting up my facebook page and all the conversations that we had. She was indeed a true friend to me. We both shared a love of photography and I will miss our conversations about life. To Bob and Marley I know she will be your guiding light. She will look over you both until the day comes when you will meet again. Take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her Mom. She's missed her so much. God Bless.

I'd just like to say how much I am going to miss Kathy. Even though we never met in real life, I felt closer to her than many of my own family and real life friends. Thank you Kathy for always being there. My prayers go out to your beautiful beloved daughter Marley, may her and Bob find peace in healing time ahead. Godspeed my friend.

I knew Kathy in high school, and was able to reconnect with her last year at a get together at Auerilos Pizza. We have stayed in touch and I was very honored to have her friendship back again. She and her great wit and sarcasm will be missed.

Kathy,

I will surely miss our banter back and forth about the Chicago Cubs and the White Sox, at least we agreed on Da Bears... Rest in Peace, my friend, now the Cubs have an Angel in the Outfield.... love ya, Sue

Kathy, you are already missed. I can't believe that I could be saddened this much from losing someone I never met. How blessed I feel to have gotten to know you. I wanted to come visit you & go around to see the lighthouses that you took such beautiful pictures of. I'm so sorry we never had the chance to go. Time is such a fragile thing.

I can't get my mind away from Marley. It is so unfair that a young girl has to go without her mom. Kathy's whole world revolved around Marley. She was a very dedicated mom. But Marley you need to know that your mom will ALWAYS be with you. She will be there to see you through school, see you when you graduate & go off to college. She will be by your side until you meet her again in heaven.

we knew each other in school and lost touch until one nite at work i heard this voice telling me "I know you from school" i turned around and there you were standing in the break room. we kept in touch thru facebook even though we lived in the same town not to far from one another. i was sadden to read you had gotten sick. you set it for marley's class to adopt a soldier and that soldier was my son and you put together a welcome home party for him with the class. he was so touched by that. i know you will be watching over him on this second deployment. you were not only a mother but a best friend to marley. i know you will be watching over her and bob. rest my friend you deserve. god has taken another angel home, rip kathy and may god give comfort to marley and bob in this most difficult time.

I have known Kathy since she was a little girl. She and Glenn lived 4 houses from me and came to visit all the time. In time I had my children and Kathy was not only my baby sitter but she was Sean and Derek's big sister. She took them everywhere. The zoo CUBS games, the park and many other places. When her mom passed away I became one of her extra moms. Got to see Marley after she was born and on and of until she was 3 and I moved back to Indiana but Kathy and I were able to keep up with each other on the phone and facebook. Sean, Derek and I are very sad that we had to loose her. She has been family for many years. Our hearts and prayers go out to you Bod and Marley and know she is watching over you both.

I am just heartbroken over your passing. I know you are not in any more pain and that makes it a little better knowing that. I will keep you in my prayers and always for your husband and Marley. I love you Swid!
