Thomas Patrick Carroll

Thomas "Tom" Patrick Carroll passed away on April 14, 2018 in Chicago, IL, due to complications following heart surgery. He was 55.

Thomas is survived by his wife Rachel; daughters: Catherine and Amanda; mother Florence; and sister Cheryl. He is preceded in death by his daughter Cassandra, father William; sister Catherine, and brothers: William Jr. and John.

Thomas was born on March 3, 1963 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to parents William and Florence. He spent his career working in the steel plant industry. After moving to Lansing, IL Thomas accepted a position as a supervisor at LB steel, where he worked for more than 15 years.

Thomas was a great family man and a loving father. He married Rachel in 1981, and the couple had three children together, including Cassandra, who died in infancy.

Thomas was a social, active man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed outdoor activities, friends, sports and loved cooking. His family and friends will always remember him as a joyful, and loving person.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Rosemoor Funeral Home: 17943 S. Torrence Avenue, Lansing, IL 60438 followed by Interment Services at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
